Pittsburgh Hashers’ Red Dress Run to Help One of Their Own

This year, the Pittsburgh Hash House Harriers’ annual Red Dress Run will benefit a member in need. “Bend Overture,” a vibrant, young, harriette who has been hashing with Pittsburgh since 2009, was diagnosed with breast cancer. Since her diagnosis in June 2017, she has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment, to be followed by surgery and radiation therapy. “We want to ensure that she remains focused on kicking cancers ass and getting her back on trail with us!” the group announced on the event registration page.

The run will begin at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from the YMR Club (Deutschtown; west side of I-279) 631 Suismon St. Pittsburgh, PA 15212 (USA). Click here for registration and more information.

Inaugurated in San Diego in 1988, the Red Dress Run is now held across the globe by the Hash House Harriers, the world’s largest running club. The event has raised millions of dollars for deserving charitable causes. Click here to see other upcoming Red Dress Run events around the world.
